Legal Services Advocacy Project For 100 years, Legal Aid has worked in pursuit of helping Minnesota’s most vulnerable citizens gain access to their basic rights for safety, shelter, food, health care and education. Second Harvest Heartland Second Harvest Heartland is one of the nation’s largest, most efficient and most innovative food banks. In 2014, they delivered more than 74 million meals to over 1,000 food shelves, pantries and other agency partner programs serving 59 counties in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Additionally, they are a member of Feeding America, a network of more than 200 food banks serving every state in the United States. 

Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, FoodShare The Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign brings together hundreds of companies, civic groups, schools and congregations to help keep 300 food shelves statewide stocked throughout the year. This grassroots campaign is their most enduring program. 

Taste of the Nation Hotlist Passed

Where: Nicollet Island Pavilion

What: Minneapolis’ Taste of the Nation Hotlist featured the Twin Cities’ top culinary hotspots and most talked about culinary trends, at the beautiful Nicollet Island Pavilion. In addition to the top toques and mixologists, the event featured great craft beers, wines and spirits, music by rising stars Communist’s Daughter, fun adult games and a silent auction.

What: Minneapolis' Taste of the Nation is an elegant evening of fine dining highlighting the Twin Cities’ most acclaimed chefs cooking table-side in an intimate setting featuring the finest cuisine. The Loews Minneapolis Hotel, one of the city’s most luxurious hotel destinations, plays host to an evening featuring fine wines, beers and spirits, an exciting live auction and a great spirit of fun. Guests will enjoy a multi-course meal with beverage pairings, all while supporting Share Our Strength's efforts to end childhood hunger.
